You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome

3. You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go (Bob Dylan, Ram’s Horn Music, SESAC)

Here’s a lovely Bob Dylan tune. I was working on learning it when my mother joined us for a vacation on the Oregon coast. She was in the last year of her life, struggling with lung cancer. She was not the kind of person with whom you could speak about impending departures, so this song became my way of letting her know that she would be dearly missed, and she is.

Mo Mack: voice, guitars and tambourine; Lewis Ross: lead guitars & keyboard; Carlton Jackson: drums; Chuck Jacobs: bass; Suzi Stern: background vocals
